Belgian new wave band formed in 1981, rising to notoriety by becoming a finalist in the HUMO . The band produces three albums and four singles before disbanding in 1988, and then reforms in 1990 for a short tour. This reformation however, doesn't lead to any new albums despite Aroma's own wish to make them, and the band disbands again shortly after, with several band members focussing more on side project and solo endeavours. This results in and (stage name of Gerry Vergult) bringing out in 1992.
By 2004, Aroma Di Amore does a one-off reunion concert, which leads to a bigger reunion tour in 2005. By 2009, the band comes to new life and shortly thereafter reforms once more. This results in the 2012 album . One more album, , follows in 2016, and in November of 2022 the band officially disbands once again with a definitive concert.
